A new step forward for Stephen Roots
Being an electrician for thirty-plus years, and a commercial catering and laundry engineer for the last five Stephen has decided to take the plunge and get qualified in domestic gas, commercial gas, and LPG! Now that’s a big plunge in one go! But this wasn’t enough! Stephen also undertook training on oil commercial catering re-assessments and became G3 accredited during his time at Gastec.
Easily doable for an eager engineer with a go-getter attitude. Hats off to Stephen! Now his time in the centre is over it’s time to get hands-on in the Heating industry!
A word with Stephen about his time at Gastec now his ACS training Is Finished
The classroom and practical training has been informative and enjoyable, any questions raised on a specific topic were answered and discussed until they were fully understood.
How did you find the course content?
All training handouts and books have been very informative and give a good reference to aid you when on-site in the working world. This all geared me up with a good understanding and ready to undertake my ACS assessments.
How did you find the centre’s facilities?
There has been a wide range of appliances to train on for practical knowledge. The training areas have been plenty big enough, and everyone on the courses had room enough to work on their own appliances.
The ACS assessments?
While both theoretical and practical assessments can be daunting, the training, literature, and support received made it possible for even me to feel confident leading up to the ACS assessments. The support received has left me feeling confident to use these skills on-site.
Very kind words from Stephen there, we wish him all the best and will see him again in five years for his ACS re-assessments.
