Metering Core – Domestic & Non-Domestic Package

This gas safety assessment is designed to test the gas safety competency of an engineer in the installation, exchange, removal and commissioning of gas meters inclusive of all the domestic core gas competencies.

Scope of meters covered –

  • Primary and secondary meters up to 6 cubic metres per hour capacity.

Operatives wishing to install meters with a higher supply pressure, between 75 mbar – 2 bar, will require the    REGT1 assessment alongside this package.

Exclusions to the CMA1 qualification:

Any work on appliances other than re-lighting after a temporary interruption to the gas supply.
