Overview
This gas safety assessment is designed to test the gas safety competence of an operative in Core Commercial gas work by practical knowledge and understanding assessment.

Who is the course for?
This course offers is designed for anyone seeking Initial Assessment or Re-Assessment
Written Assessments
These consist of one open book written assessments. The Open Book assessments permit the use of approved reference material such as UK Certification manuals to obtain answers.
All two written assessments contain either multiple questions or true/false statements.
Practical Assessments
Work on:
- LPG cylinder location, safety and sizing
- Ventilation (for appliances)
- Installation of pipework and fittings
- Chimney Standards
- Chimney inspection and testing
- Re-establish existing gas supply and relight appliances
Practical Tests
Workshop activities on live pipework required
Pre-Requisites
Proof of existing Gas Safe Registration for Reassessment, or 6 months registration with Gas Safe Register plus proof of working on appliance.

This is a one day course which is inclusive of half day assessment
