This course is suitable for electricians from a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels seeking EAL certification covering single and three phase installations.
This course provides delegates with an understanding of the theory and practice of the initial verification and commissioning of both single and three phase electrical installations. The qualification follows BS 7671 and the industry recognised IET Guidance Note 3 as well as the Electrical Safety Council.
This is a four day course which is inclusive of an in-classroom assessment.
This course is aimed at practicing electricians who have not carried out Verification since qualifying or who require some update of training before going on to other EAL qualifications. The qualification is also suitable for those with limited experience of  inspection and testing of electrical installations, such as those entering the industry from other engineering disciplines or who have been working in allied trades.
An Online assessment is required during this 4 Day course
This course will anticipate that candidates have an understanding of electrical theory: including the effects of resistances on cables, common electrical terminology, and common equations (including Ohms Law), etc, and how to work safely in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.
