Changeover Domestic To Catering Appliances

These consist of open-book written assessments. The Open Book assessments permit the use of approved reference material such as Gastec Training manuals to obtain answers.

All written assessments contain either multiple questions or true/false statements.

Pre-requisites c/o Core Generic Parts A and B + CoDC1 + CCN1 with domestic appliances e.g. CKR1, CENWAT etc.

Or

CCLP1 with domestic appliances e.g. CKR1, CENWAT etc. or QCF or S/NVQ with changeover.

Proof of existing Gas Safe Registration for Reassessment, or 12 months registration with the Gas Safe Register. You must hold a valid commercial catering changeover qualification for COCATA1.

Exclusions:

Work that was previously covered in domestic Natural Gas assessments; work that is not a matter of gas safety such as kitchen worktops and cabinetry, extract fans, ductwork, hoods and canopies, plumbing, electrical and building.

Gastec training and assessment centre use their own literature to train from.
