Tests gas safety competence in the work of installing, commissioning, exchanging, disconnecting, servicing, repairing, and breakdowns of non-domestic gas catering appliances in the COMCAT2 grouping table covering:
Pressure steamers. Pressure steaming ovens. Ancillary equipment.
This is a one day course which is inclusive of half day theory , half day practical assessment
This commercial catering gas course is designed for anyone seeking Initial Assessment or Re-Assessment.
Common add-ons alongside COMCAT2 include:
These consist of open-book written assessments. The Open Book assessments permit the use of approved reference material such as Gastec training manuals to obtain answers.
All written assessments contain either multiple questions or true/false statements.
CCCN 1 or CoDC1 or QCF or S/NVQ alternatives.
Proof of existing Gas Safe Registration for Reassessment, or 12 months registration with the Gas Safe Register plus proof of working on appliances relevant to the qualification being undertaken.
